- Implementation of the Downtown Revitalization Plan
- Funding for the Sooke Region Museum
- Phase 2 expansion of our sewer system infrastructure
- Implementing the new local road network within our 5 year capital plan
- Safe sidewalks and street lighting
- Housing affordability, availability and sustainability
- Working with thel MLA and MP on road & safety improvements for Highway 14
- Parks & Trails Plan and its implementation
- Continuing to represent Sooke regionally in the CRD
 What's Next...
- With a new sewer system, clear zoning bylaws and plans for downtown revitalization, the stage is now set for controlled, considered growth that will benefit the entire communityÂ
- Controlled development and DCCs to help provide the road improvements, sidewalks and street lighting that our community needsÂ
- Pedestrian-friendly and bike-friendly, green belt trails to safely connect our neighbourhoods and schools 3
- Approve the Manufactured Home PolicyÂ
- Support our existing businesses and encourage appropriate, commercial development and investment to increase the tax base and lessen the financial burden for the residents of SookeÂ
- Build upon our existing foundation by continuing to put infrastructure and plans in place to create and promote a safe, healthy, successful and economically viable community for all.
