Janet is the current president of the Sooke Lioness / Lions Club and a member for 12 years. Her club focuses on projects that help children, families and seniors in the community. 

She is also a keen supporter of the Subaru Sooke Half Iron Triathalon, working to make it bigger and better every year.

Janet supports SASSY: Sooke Adults Supporting Sooke Youth and the Tour de Rock fundraising projects. 

Janet supports the visual and performing arts:

• and all local artists who make Sooke such a beautiful place.
